Last weekend, a few of my friends went out for a just-because dinner at Jang Mo Jib in Richmon.
I got to chase Sarah around the restaurant for a short while (as long as her attention span holds before she realizes she wants mommy again). And then we hopped on over to East Is East on Main St. for some live music and late night snacking while sipping on hot chai.
East Is East has been moved and remodeled, and is now much more spacious and hosts an even more vibrant atmosphere. Pretty fun hang out place for a weekend night out. Not to mention that their chai was brewed to a creamy and spicy perfection. We happened to show up on Flamenco Ensemble night, and the liveliness of the performances helped end the night off on a very upbeat note.
