Brother's Birthday Dinner

At Hot Pot One at Aberdeen Mall.

Double soup base. Parsley and century egg. Satay.

Super marbled beef.

Wontons, taro, tofu, pigs blood. Doesn't look too appetizing when not cooked. But pig's blood doesn't look appetizing either when cooked. (I don't eat it).

Fresh meatballs and fish filets.

Deep fried fish skin.

Humungous prawns.

We even got (imitation) crab claws.

Black sesame dessert.

  1. I've been neglecting my dslr these days. :( My Lumix LX5 is so much more compact and has enough manual control for my everyday photos. I need a new lens to play with... you?? What are you using these days?

  2. Wow your Lumix takes really nice pictures! I thought you were using an slr with macro for these pictures. I am using a tamron 17-50 f2.8 but i've kind of lost motivation to bring it around anymore lol

  3. Yah I love my Lumix! It fits in my (jacket) pocket or fits in my purse. Manual controls. Pretty awesome in low light. Macro. Wide angles. It's my everyday camera now... unless if I'm on a mission to take more artsy photos experimenting with lenses, I don't see why I'd swap out this Lumix...

  4. Which Lumix do you have? My point and shoot is so old. I need to buy a new one :)

  5. Lumix DMC-LX5. If you prefer the Canon, check out the S95. That's the equivalent. I was debating between those two... :)
